The SAU basketball teams both suffered defeat Thursday night at Arkansas Tech in Russellville. The Golden Suns beat the Lady Muleriders 83 to 40, and the Wonder Boys won 92 to 68 over the Muleriders. 11 Muleriders All-GAC

Eleven SAU football players earned All-Great American Conference honors. Quarterback Barrett Renner and Cornerback Quan Warren were named to the first team. Renner was also named the Freshman of the Year. SAU also placed seven players on the All-GAC second team, and two received honorable mention.
