SAU Softball Team Split Doubleheader

The SAU softball team split a conference doubleheader Tuesday at the University of Arkansas at Monticello. The won the first game 4-1, but lost the second game 3-1. Darian Harris and Ashton Atwell each had 3 hits on the day for SAU. Kaylee Garner was the winning pitcher. The Lady Muleriders are now 19 and 4 in the Great American Conference, 27

MHS Panthers Improve Record

Matt Goodheart pitched his second no hitter of the season Tuesday in Magnolia as the Panthers run-ruled the Hope Bobcats 10 to 0. Goodheart improved his record to 5 and 0 on the season. Jay French, Brooks Lynch and Alex Fogo each had two hits for the Panthers. Magnolia improves their record to 10 and 2 on the season, 2 and 1 in the 5A South.
