Muleriders and Panthers Rained Out

The Magnolia High School baseball and softball games, and the SAU baseball game are all rained out today. SAU was scheduled to play a non-conference game at Arkansas Tech; that game will not be made up. Magnolia was scheduled to play Camden Fairview at home today, those games will be rescheduled, but the date has not yet been determined.

SAU Track & Field-Saturday’s Top Performers

The SAU track teams competed Saturday in the UCA Open. SAU’s Doug Palmer set a new 10,000-meter record with a second place finish, and Chris Wallace topped his previous best and school record in the 5000 meter with a second-place finish. SAU Baseball & Softball Weekend Results

It was not a good weekend for SAU baseball. The Muleriders got swept in their three-game series in Magnolia. Southeastern Oklahoma State won both ends of Friday’s doubleheader 5-3 and 3-1, and the Savage Storm also took Saturday’s game 7-1. Magnolia Report Cards

Magnolia Public Schools will send progress reports home with students this Friday, April 22nd. Parents should expect a progress report for every academic class in which their child is enrolled. Parents are encouraged to review the progress report with your child. Students are to return the reports with a parent’s signature. The Magnolia High

SAU Softball Wins

The SAU softball team swept a pair of games Friday at Southeastern Oklahoma State. The Lady Muleriders won by scores of 6-0 and 8-0. SAU’s Brooke Goad hit three homeruns on the day; she now has 20 for the season. Chelsea Jordan added a pair of homeruns and led SAU with five total hits. Kaylee Garner each pitched six innings of shutout ball.

SAU Baseball Lost Double Header

The SAU baseball team lost both ends of a doubleheader Friday in Magnolia. Southeastern Oklahoma State defeated the Muleriders 5-3 and 3-1. Panthers Defeat DeQueen

The Magnolia Panthers beat De Queen 10-0 Friday in conference baseball action in Magnolia. The Panthers had 8 hits and took advantage of 5 De Queen errors. The game was called after 5 innings because of the 10 run rule. Matt Goodheart went the distance on the mound to improve his record to 7 and 0 for the season. He allowed only 2 hits.

The Magnolia Panthers Games Scheduled

The Magnolia Panthers won their baseball game 7-3 Thursday at Taylor. The Panthers improved to 14 and 3 for the season. They return to conference action at 4:30 today, at home against De Queen.
