The SAU softball team swept their 4-game series with Harding in Magnolia. The Lady Muleriders won 4-0 and 7-5 Friday, and 6-0 and 12-4 Saturday. The Lady Muleriders are in second place in the Great American Conference. They travel to first-place Arkansas Tech Friday and Saturday.
The SAU baseball team pounded out 15 hits in the first game of a doubleaheader Sunday at Harding, but they could manage only 6 hits in the second game. A change has been made to the schedule of SAU’s conference baseball series this week at Harding. Searcy has received a large amount of rain and they are going to give the field an extra day to dry.
