Magnolia Police report an arrest after a traffic stop Saturday. They say they pulled over a red Chevy Blazer on McNeil Street in Magnolia for loud music. SAU kicker Bradford Grems is the Great American Conference Special Teams Football Player of the Week. Football Muleriders Beat Rangers

Nearly 6,000 people packed Wilkins Stadium Saturday as the SAU football team beat Northwestern Oklahoma State 33-14. Nearly half of the Mulerider’s points came from the toe of Bradford Grems. Panthers Fall at Monticello

Monticello defeated Magnolia 21 to 14 in high school football action Friday night in Monticello. Kaden Roach scored both of Magnolia’s touchdowns. He scored on runs of 77 and 13 yards. Roach had 17 rushes for 170 yards. The Panthers and the Billies are both 1 and 1 for the season. Magnolia plays at home next Friday against El Dorado.
