SAU’s Blake Hall is the Great American Conference Baseball Player of the week. In the Muleriders’ four games over the past week, the Magnolia native went 10-for-18 at the plate with nine runs scored. Hall also tallied five extra-base hits – four doubles and a triple – and drove in four runs from the leadoff spot in the lineup.

On March 1 Gwin McLeod, 52 of Magnolia, was arrested and charged with theft of property over $1,000 and breaking or entering. McLeod was arrested based on a warrant that was issued in 2015 for his alleged involvement in the theft of a vehicle.
