Crime Lab Rules on Easter Cause of Death

Magnolia Police Chief Todd Dew has released a report on the cause of death of 29-year-old Marquis Easter. Easter’s body was found as Magnolia firemen responded to a brush fire off McNeil Street on December 23rd. The MPD release states: “The Arkansas State Crime Laboratory Medical Examiners Office has determined the death of Marquis Easter was caused by multiple gun shot wounds. The autopsy results have not been completed as of this report. Detectives are actively investigating the homicide. No arrest has been made at this time. Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to contact the Magnolia Police department.”
