1. Peace Hall at First United Methodist Church is open for relief from the heat, from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and Saturday. Use the Madison Street entrance (the Stew Pot entrance.)
2. Also, you are reminded to never run a generator inside a house or garage, or in any enclosed space. Even with the window or garage door open, the carbon monoxide can accumulate to deadly levels; it can make you sick or even kill you. So, always run a generator outside in a well-ventilated area.
