The Magnolia High School Sports Banquet was Tuesday night in the High School Cafeteria. Coaches introduced their players and named the most valuable athletes in each of the individual sports. Athletes who participated in at least 2 sports were eligible for the overall Outstanding Athlete awards. The Outstanding Female Athlete Award went to Kayleigh Sneed, who was exceptional in volleyball and girls’ basketball. The Outstanding Male Athlete Award went to Kadyn Roach, who excelled in football, basketball and track. At the conclusion of the evening, a plaque was presented to Athletic Director Marvin Lindsey. Lindsey is retiring after 42 years with Magnolia High School.
