Storms & Heavy Rain Possible Through At Least Thursday

From the National Weather Service Forecast Office in Shreveport, LA:

Strong to Severe Thunderstorms will be possible, mainly across portions of the Middle Red River Valley of Northeast Texas, Southeast Oklahoma and Southwest Arkansas late Wednesday into Wednesday Night. Damaging winds and large hail appear to be the main threat across the Slight Risk area at this time.

 

Periods of heavy rainfall will begin late tonight and continue through at least Thursday across the northwest half of the Four State Region where 2 to 4 inches will be possible with isolated higher amounts. Flash Flood Watches may become necessary for portions of the Middle Red River Valley of Northeast Texas, Southeast Oklahoma and Southwest Arkansas with future forecasts.
