The Magnolia School District has announced the hiring of Coach Dyun Long as the incoming athletic director. On its Facebook post, the district says that “Coach Long has been with the district for 23 years and is passionate about Panther athletics. With his leadership, we will continue a tradition of excellence and will maintain high expectations for all of our athletic programs. We congratulate him on this new opportunity!”
Long is currently the head boys’ basketball coach at Magnolia High School. His Panthers recently won the Class 4A State Championship.
