Congratulations to the Magnolia Panther basketball team. They are the 8-4A Conference champions. Magnolia won 75-46 tonight at Hamburg to claim the conference championship outright. Magnolia’s top scorers included Braelyn Beasley with 21 points, Darrien Ford with 20, and Coby Garland with 18 points. The Panthers are 10 and 1 in conference action, 17 and 4 overall.
Magnolia’s girls were also winners; the Lady Panthers won 58-37 at Hamburg. Kiara Frazier led Magnolia with 15 points and Ashunti Humbert added 14. The Lady Panthers improved to 6 and 5 in conference games, 12 and 10 for the season.
