Waldo and Taylor will have new mayors in the New Year. In the runoff election Tuesday, Kenneth Eugene Haupt defeated Waldo mayor Patricia Doss Glover 154 to 121; and Clifford Page defeated Taylor’s incumbent mayor Charles Matlock 105 to 90. The new mayors begin their terms on January 1st.
