It was a great weekend of football for the local teams.
The Magnolia Panthers won 40-29 Friday night at De Queen. The Panthers are now 5 and 4. They close out the season at 7 p.m. Friday, at home, against Hope.
The SAU Muleriders won 34-14 Saturday in the Murphy USA Classic in El Dorado. The Muleriders are 8 and 1 for the season. Their next opponent is undefeated OBU at 1 p.m. Saturday in Arkadelphia. This could determine the conference championship.
