The SAU basketball teams split their games Monday night at the University of Arkansas at Monticello. UAM won the ladies’ game 66 to 49. Makaila Jordan led SAU with 13 points. Anna Djedjemel scored 12, and Jasmyn Eckerman added 10 points. In the men’s game, the Muleriders were 73 to 58 winners. They were led by Keeton Tennison with 18 points, De’Sean Dockery with 15, CJ Elkins and Denarious Lockhart with 12 points each, and Tony Aska with 7 points and 10 rebounds. Up next for SAU basketball is Ouachita Baptist University Thursday night in Arkadelphia.

Tuesday night’s SAU baseball game has been postponed due to the threat of rain. The game has been rescheduled February 28th at Goodheart Field. The Muleriders begin Great American Conference baseball action with a three-game series Friday and Saturday at Southeastern Oklahoma State in Durant.

The Magnolia High School basketball teams play at home Tuesday night against Hot Springs Lakeside. The varsity girls tip off at 6:00, followed by the varsity boys. Both varsity games will be broadcast live on Magnolia’s Country 99.1, and online at MagnoliaRadio.com.
