SAU senior outfielder Trevor Rucker has been named the first Great American Conference Baseball Player of the Week for the 2017 season. Rucker hit .462 (6-for-13) with four RBIs over SAU’s four-games. Of his six hits, four went for extra bases with two doubles, a triple, and a homerun. Rucker was also 4-for-4 in stolen bases and he scored six runs. This is the fourth time in Rucker’s career that he has been named as the GAC Player of the Week.
The Magnolia High School basketball teams host Arkansas High tonight at Panther Arena. There will be no junior-varsity game. The varsity girls tip off at 6:00, followed by the varsity boys. Both games will be broadcast live on Magnolia’s Country 99.1, and online at MagnoliaRadio.com. The broadcast begins at 5:50.
