Southern Arkansas University’s newly-renovated Track and Field Complex will be dedicated this Saturday. The track is located on the north end of campus along North Jackson and US Highway 82. The dedication ceremony begins with a track and field alumni gathering at 3 p.m., followed by a dedication program at 4:00 p.m. During the program, donors will be recognized for their generosity to the facility. After the dedication program, everyone is invited to take part in Mulegating prior to the SAU football game. The Muleriders play at home Saturday against Arkansas Tech. Mulegating begins at 4:00 p.m. north of Wilkins Stadium, and the game kicks off at 6:00 p.m.
The Mulerider Track and Field Complex was built by GeoSurfaces. It includes a new eight-lane track, competition space for field events, and areas for other events.
