Magnolia Police report an arrest after a traffic stop Saturday. They say they pulled over a red Chevy Blazer on McNeil Street in Magnolia for loud music. The report identifies the driver as 32 year old Robert Parrish of Stamps. He was arrested for Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, Possession of Marijuana with Purpose to Deliver, DWI, Disturbing the Peace, and No Seat Belt.

A truck was reported stolen from the area of Jeanette Street on Sunday. Magnolia Police that the truck was driven to SAU, where property was removed from a building. Magnolia and SAU Police later identified the suspects as three 15 year olds and one 14 year old, all of Magnolia. They were arrested Monday for this incident and other reported thefts, including ATVs. They are all reported to be awaiting first appearance in juvenile court.

Magnolia Police also report the arrest of 38 year old Michael Joseph West of Magnolia in August. He was charged at that time for Carrying a Weapon, Possession of Marijuana, and Improper Turn Signal, then released on bond. Later, police say they discovered that West was a convicted felon and could not possess a firearm. So they issued a warrant and then arrested him Tuesday.
