The SAU Cross Country teams competed Saturday at UCA. The men’s team finished fourth overall, and second among the Division II teams. The women finished fifth overall, and third among the D-II teams. Jada Fricks was the top runner for the Lady Muleriders, and Doug Palmer was tops for the Muleriders. Palmer was tenth overall, and fourth among D-II runners. The SAU Cross Country teams compete Saturday at Missouri Southern State in Joplin, Missouri.
The SAU volleyball team went 1 and 3 in Arkadelphia. The Lady Muleriders lost two five-set matches Friday, to Lindenwood and West Alabama. On Saturday, SAU won 3 to nothing over Missouri Southern, and then they lost 3 to nothing to Northern State. The Lady Muleriders begin conference volleyball action Tuesday; they travel to Russellville to face Arkansas Tech.
