Magnolia Water Lines To Be Flushed

The Magnolia Water Utilities will start the annual distribution system flushing program, beginning Monday (April 25th.)  They say the purpose for this program is to remove sediments and buildup from the water mains.  They said it will also allow the Utility to test the operation of the fire hydrants.  They ask customers to keep your water usage down to a minimum during the period that your section is being flushed to reduce pulling discolored water into your household plumbing.

The week of April 25th, they will be flushing:

Area 1 –   East of Boundary Street, North of West Calhoun, West of North Jackson, and south of West North; also

Area 2 –   South of West Calhoun, West of South Jackson, East of Boundary

The week of May 2nd, Magnolia Utilities will be flushing:

Area 3 –   East of South Jackson, North of Renfroe and Calhoun Road, West of

South Verda, and South of East North; also

Area 4 –   East of South Washington, South of Renfroe and Calhoun Road,

and West of Highway 79.
