The first event of the Magnolia Blossom Festival has taken place. The drawing was held Wednesday morning for the Early Bird Prize in steak ticket sales. Anyone who bought a steak ticket by April 15th was in the drawing. The winner was Jason Ray at Carter Federal Credit Union. The prize pack includes a 65-quart Yeti cooler, a PK Grill donated by PK Grill and S&S Home Center, 2 – 30-ounce Yeti cups donated by Peoples Bank, $100 cash donated by Magnolia Reporter, a $100 gift certificate from Jennifer’s, 10 – 16-ounce Certified Angus Beef rib eyes donated by Performance Food Group, and Royal Oak charcoal.
