It was not a good weekend for SAU baseball. The Muleriders got swept in their three-game series in Magnolia. Southeastern Oklahoma State won both ends of Friday’s doubleheader 5-3 and 3-1, and the Savage Storm also took Saturday’s game 7-1. The Muleriders have a non-conference game at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Arkansas Tech. Then they return to conference action Friday and Saturday at East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma.
The SAU softball team won three of their four games at Southeastern Oklahoma State. The Lady Muleriders swept Friday’s doubleheader 6-0 and 8-0. They were also 15-10 winners in Saturday’s first game, but lost the nightcap 9-2. The Lady Muleriders play at home against East Central Friday and Saturday.
