The SAU baseball team lost 2 of their 3 games at Henderson State. The Reddies won 6-5 Friday night; the Muleriders won Saturday’s first game 12-3, but they lost in the nightcap 4-1. The Muleriders have a non-conference game against LSU-Shreveport at 6 p.m. Tuesday in Magnolia.
The SAU softball team was at home against Henderson State, and the Lady Muleriders won 3 of the 4 games. They split Friday, winning 2-1 and losing 3-2. But SAU swept Saturday’s games, winning 6-5 in 10 innings, and 6-1. The Lady Muleriders have a conference doubleheader at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the University of Arkansas at Monticello.
