The SAU basketball teams were in Ada, Oklahoma for their first Great American Conference games of the season. The Lady Muleriders won 63 to 59 at East Central, and the Muleriders were 85 to 70 winners. Rosa Bryant and Aleeya Harris led the Lady Muleriders…Bryant had 20 points and 9 rebounds; Harris had 19 points and 11 rebounds. The Muleriders were led by Jaron Davis with 26 points. Deon Andrews added 16 points. The next SAU basketball action is Saturday afternoon at Southeastern Oklahoma State. The ladies play at 1:00 and the men follow at about 3:00. The SAU volleyball team beat Harding Thursday night in the first round of the conference tournament in Hot Springs. The match went five sets. The Lady Muleriders face top-seeded Arkansas Tech at 6:00 this evening in the second round.
