The SAU women’s basketball team was down by 13 with five and a half minutes remaining in their game Tuesday at Texas A&M- Commerce. But the Lady Muleriders scored the last 15 points of the game and they beat the Lions 76 to 74. Shana Holmes led SAU with 25 points. Rosa Bryant added 23 points and 18 rebounds. The Lady Muleriders are now 2 and 0 for the season.
The SAU men and women open their conference basketball schedule Thursday and Saturday in Oklahoma. They travel to East Central University Thursday and Southeastern Oklahoma State Saturday.
