May 31st is the Assessment Deadline. All Personal Property must be assessed by May 31st to avoid a 10% Penalty. Business owners and/or representatives must turn in a signed assessment form. Individuals may assess by phone. The Columbia County Assessor’s Office is open 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the County Annex. Their phone number is 234-4380.
