Southern Arkansas University’s Performing Arts Series will present musicians from the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra on Tuesday, October 24th at 7:30pm in Oliver Recital Hall in Dolph Camp Hall on the SAU campus. The program will feature Tchaikovsky’s string sextet, Souvenir de Florence, Op. 70, performed by Meredith Maddox-Hicks and Katherine Williams, violinists, Katherine Reynolds and Ryan Mooney, violists, and David Gerstein and Ethan Young, cellists. Also featured will be Madeleine Dring’s Trio for Flute and Oboe and Piano and Duo Brillant(William Tell) by F.C. Berthelemy and J. Demersseman, performed by Dianne McVinney, flutist, Beth Wheeler, oboist and May Tsao-Lim, pianist. “Eggs and Toast” from Phillip BimStein’s “Cats in the Kitchen” will provide a light-hearted selection to complement the other works.

The concert is free and open to the public.
