The Tai Chi Easy classes held every Monday at the Hospitality House have been SUSPENDED until June 4th.
Host families for high school age international exchange students ages 15-18 are wanted for 5-12 months. Students come with medical insurance and spending money. You provide a loving home, care and guidance, 3 meals, a bed, and an excperience of a life for your family as well as the student. Host families are not paid but may claim a $50.00 per month chariable contribution on their income tax. Balloon Release at 12:15pm on the east side of the Columbia County Courthouse. Balloons will be released in honor or memory of loved ones and friends. Performing at the event will be the Columbia Christian School Choir. The public is invited to attend. The event is hosted by Life Touch Hospice.

May 25-26 Friday- Saturday MAGNOLIA PASTORS' AND MINISTERS' CONFERENCE will be held from 7p-10p on Friday and 9a-3p on Saturday. @ the Jaycee Building on South Frederick St. in Magnolia.The theme is "Iron Sharpeneth Iron" (Proverbs 27:17) and the guest Lecturer is Dr. Lewis A. Shepherd, Jr. Pastor of Greater Pleasant Hill MBC in Arkadelphia. Cost is $25 and included materials, 3 meals, cds and extras. The deadline for registration is Friday, however fees will be taken at the door.
May 27 Sunday Church Anniversary Service at 2:30pm at Mercy and Grace Missionary Baptist Church. The guest speaker will be Reverend W. F. Colen and the guest church Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church.
May 27 Sunday Memorial Day Services for th Shiloh Lamartine Cemetery will begin at a 10am meeting with services to follow at 11am at the Shiloh Lamartine Baptist Church north of Waldo. David Watkins will bring the message. After a pot luck luncheon, James Staggs will lead the gospel singing.
June 4 Monday Discussions with the Doctor will be in Salon B of the Donald W. Reynold's Campus and Commuicyt Center at SAU at 5:30pm with a light supper sponsored by Magnolia Respiratory Care, and the presentation will begin at 6pm. The guest speaker will be Dr. Rafael Otero.
