Mulerider Baseball to host Central Region Tournament as top-seed

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – For the second time in program history, the Southern Arkansas Baseball team will serve as host of a NCAA Regional Tournament as it was announced through the NCAA Division II Baseball Selection Show on Sunday night that the Muleriders will be the No. 1-seed of the upcoming Central Region Tournament.

The eight-team regional tournament will begin on Thursday, May 17 and will run through Monday, May 21. All games will be played at Walker Stadium at Goodheart Field.

Joining the Muleriders at the Central Region Tournament are:

No. 3-seed | University of Central Oklahoma (35-19)
No. 4-seed | Pittsburg State University (33-19)
No. 5-seed | Augustana University (44-8)
No. 6-seed | St. Cloud State University (29-15)
No. 7-seed | Oklahoma Baptist University (31-17)
No. 8-seed | Emporia State University (33-22)
