Taylor High School’s baseball and softball teams have advanced to the semi-finals of their 1A State Tournaments in Mountain Home. Neither Taylor team has been scored on yet in the tournaments. The Lady Tigers won 11-0 Thursday over Viola, and they beat Midland 10-0 Friday to earn a berth in the 1A softball semi-finals against Mt. Vernon- Enola at noon Saturday. The Tigers play at 2:30 Saturday against South Side in the semi-finals after beating Lead Hill 16-0 Thursday and Armorel 10-0 Friday.
