LifeShare Blood Center is having blood drives at two area schools this week as part of the LifeScholars program. Schools that achieve annual blood donation goals are granted a scholarship to be awarded to a student selected by the school.
LifeShare is having a blood drive from 8:30 to 3:00 Thursday at Emerson High School, and they’re having a drive from 8:30 to 3:30 Friday at Magnolia High School; it will be in the old band hall/CAN room. The public is encouraged to give blood at these drives and help the schools meet their goals. Walk-ins are welcome.
