Southern Arkansas University is again hosting the Columbia County Angel Tree. The program aims to make Christmas great for more than 250 children and 93 families in Columbia County. The children whose names are on the tree range in age from infancy through high school. Each child’s age, gender, sizes and gift requests are included. There is no specific amount required to be spent on each child, but $50 per child is suggested. If you can’t shop, cash contributions are accepted. They also accept volunteers to help. The Angel Tree is located in room 218 of the Reynolds Center at SAU. Gifts are due by 5 p.m. December 14th. If you have questions, call 870-235-4047.
