The SAU basketball teams close out the regular season with an Oklahoma swing. They have games starting at 5:30 tonight at Southern Nazarene University, and at 1:00 Saturday at Oklahoma Baptist. All of the games will be broadcast live on Magnolia’s Country 99.1. Tonight’s broadcast begins at 5:20.
The Magnolia Panthers face Hope tonight in the semifinals of the 5A South Basketball Tournament at Watson Chapel High School. Game time is 8:00 tonight. The Panther game will not be broadcast tonight, but we will have updates during the Mulerider game on Magnolia’s Country 99.1.
The SAU baseball team had a non-conference game Wednesday evening at Delta State University. Delta State jumped out to an early lead and held on for an 8-4 win. The Muleriders fell to 6 and 4 for the season. They return to conference play Friday and Saturday as East Central University comes to town. The Muleriders and Tigers play a single game at 6:00 p.m. Friday and a doubleheader beginning at noon Saturday.
