The SAU baseball team opened their conference schedule with a three-game sweep at Southeastern Oklahoma State. The Muleriders won 5-1 in their first game Friday. Then they swept a doubleheader Saturday, 7 – 2 and 8 – 4. The Muleriders are now 6 and 3 for the season. They have a non-conference game at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday at Delta State.
The SAU softball team won three of their four games at the UAM 8-State Classic in Bentonville. They won both games Friday….6 – 5 over Northwest Missouri, and 14 – 5 over Central Missouri. The Lady Muleriders beat Fort Hays State 5 – 1 in nine innings Saturday, and they lost 6 – 5 Sunday to Missouri Southern State. The Lady Muleriders are now 10 and 2 for the season. They open Great American Conference play with a four-game series at East Central Friday and Saturday.
The SAU basketball teams played their final home games of the season Saturday against Harding. The Lady Muleriders came up just short against the twentieth-ranked Lady Bisons, falling 49 – 46. The Muleriders routed the Bisons 88 – 58. The Lady Muleriders fell to 3 and 17 in the GAC, 5 and 19 overall.
