Magnolia went on to win 54 to 45. Kisi Young and Lily Moore were top scorers for Magnolia with 19 points apiece. The Lady Panthers improved to 10 and 5 in conference action, 13 and 8 overall. The Lady Rams fell to 11 and 4, and 18 and 7.

The boys’ game was never in doubt. The Panthers scored the first 21 points and emerged with a 64 to 29 win. Trey Davis and Greg Martin led Magnolia with 12 points apiece. Nike Jones added 11 points.
