We have been notified by the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office that a local bank was robbed this morning. It’s believed to be the Lakewood Bank of Peoples Bank. The suspect is described as a black male around 6 feet tall, wearing a camouflage jacket, black pants, and olive green hat. The suspect is reported to be driving a turquoise or green Chrysler 300 or similar vehicle, no tinted windows. They do not know what direction he went.
