It’s Homecoming tonight at Magnolia High School. The Homecoming Court will be presented on Don Hubbard Field at 6:30, and Magnolia and Watson Chapel will kick off at 7:00. As usual, you can hear the Panthers live on Magnolia’s Country 99.1, and online at MagnoliaRadio.com. Our football coverage begins with GameDay at 6:00, followed by an interview with coach John Panter at 6:30. After the game tonight, you can hear all the scores from across the state on the scoreboard show from 10:00 to midnight on Magnolia’s Country 99.1.

The SAU volleyball team has matches tonight and tomorrow on their home court in the W.T. Watson Athletic Center. The Lady Muleriders host East Central at 7:00 tonight. Their opponent is Southeastern Oklahoma State at 1:00 Saturday.

The SAU football team is playing in the Murphy USA Classic Saturday in El Dorado. It’s the eighth annual Classic and this will be SAU’s sixth appearance. The Muleriders face the Henderson State Reddies at 2:00 in Memorial Stadium on Northwest Avenue. You can hear the Muleriders live on Magnolia’s Country 99.1. The pre-game show begins at 1:15.

The Southern Arkansas Athletic Department will host “Meet the Muleriders: Basketball Fan Fest” on Monday, October 24 from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. inside the W.T. Watson Center. The event is free to the public. Meet the Muleriders will feature numerous activity stations for kids of all ages to enjoy while also being able to interact with SAU basketball players. Activity areas will include bouncy houses, photo booths, face painting, etc.  Free food and candy will be available throughout the evening for kids, and the first 150 kids ages 5-12 will receive a free t-shirt. At around 7 p.m., the SAU Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams will be introduced, followed by contests involving kids and players to close out the evening.
