Rider Express Robbery Arrest

Magnolia Police report that an arrest has been made for the robbery of the Rider Express on March 21st. 18 year old Jontavius Curry of McNeil was arrested Monday and charged with aggravated robbery. Magnolia Police report that, during the investigation, Curry was identified as a suspect, and a warrant was issued for his arrest. His bond is set

MHS Baseball / Softball

The Magnolia Panthers were 14-4 winners over Camden Fairview Tuesday at the Panther Baseball Field. Magnolia won by the mercy rule in 5 innings. Magnolia’s Dayton Dickson had 3 hits and 5 RBIs. Jay French and Parker Ribble had 2 hits apiece. Matt Goodheart was the winning pitcher and Adam Pieratt picked up the save. The Panthers improved to 5

SAU Baseball

The winning streak is up to 16 games for the SAU baseball team. Tuesday night, it took extra innings at Goodheart Field, but the 11th-ranked Muleriders edged the 15th-ranked Delta State Statesmen 3-2 in 11 innings.
